Repair Management

Description 

Repair Devices are used when creating a repair. These are devices that are being repaired. For example, if a client comes to repair their damaged iPhone 4, you would create a new repair device called iPhone 4 to proceed with the repair ticket.





Creating a Repair Device

  1. Click on the Admin tools tab.
  2. Then, click on the drop-down menu of settings.
  3. Click on the Repair management settings.
  4. Click on Repair devices category on the left side.
  5. Click on the blue plus icon on the bottom right corner. 
  6. In the Product window, enter the name of the repair device in the product field.
  7. Select your repair category by clicking on the category drop-down menu, you can also create a new category by clicking on the Add new category button. Click here for more details on creating a repair category.
  8. Click save.

Creating a Repair issue

Repair Issues are used to in repairs when selecting the price list for the repair device. You can create a new repair issue and enable it for every repair device in the software. 

  1. Click on the Admin tools tab.
  2. Then, click on the drop-down menu of settings.
  3. Click on the repair management settings.
  4. Click on the Repair issue category on the left side.
  5. Click on the blue plus icon on the bottom right corner.
  6. Enter the name of the issue in the name field.
  7. Click on the plus icon 


Enabling Repair issues for a Repair device 



  1. Click on the Admin tools tab.
  2. Then, click on the drop-down menu of settings.
  3. Click on the repair management settings.
  4. Click on the Repair issue category on the left side.
  5. From the list of repair devices, select the repair issues you want to apply for each device by checking the appropriate check box. 


Create a Repair status 

  1. Click on the Admin tools tab.
  2. Then, click on the drop-down menu of settings.
  3. Click on the Repair management settings.
  4. Click on Repair status category on the left side.
  5. Click on the blue plus icon on the bottom right corner. 
  6. In the Repair status window, Enter the name/label of the status in the status field.
  7. Select the color of the repair status.


Creating a Repair type 

  1. Click on the Admin tools tab.
  2. Then, click on the drop-down menu of settings.
  3. Click on the Repair management settings.
  4. Click on Repair type category on the left side.
  5. Click on the blue plus icon on the bottom right corner.
  6. In the Repair type window, Enter the name/label of the repair type in the label field.
  7. Click save.
