Batch Pick Up
When the batch is closed at the end of the day, the cash you received throughout is needed to be picked up. When you pick up cash from the register, you performed a Batch pickup. A Batch pickup in CellSmart POS is a way for the software to know that the cash received has been picked up and the Cash register is now reset to its initial state. The software keeps a record of each batch pickup with its shift details. You can view batch pickups by selecting a specific date or a time period and keep track of each batch pickup detail.
Performing a Batch pickup
- Right click anywhere inside the software to access quick links, click on the Batch Pickup quick link. OR Click on the admin tools tab then click the Batch Pickup button.
- A list of all the batches that haven't been pickup will be listed, select the batch you want to pick up by clicking on the checkbox towards the left.
- Click on the Batch pickup Total button to perform the batch pickup.
View Previously Picked up Batches
- Right click anywhere inside the software to access quick links, click on the Batch Pickup quick link. OR Click on the admin tools tab then click the Batch Pickup button.
- Toggle the Not Picked up button located at the top right corner, to view the picked up batch pickups.
View Batch Details
You can view each batch details such as revenue, cash spent, tax collected amounts and the payment breakdown.
- Right click anywhere inside the software to access quick links, click on the Batch Pickup quick link. OR Click on the admin tools tab then click the Batch Pickup button.
- Select the batch from the list, or from the list of previously picked up batches. ( To view previous batch pickups Read the instructions above).
- Click on the Eye button from the options menu to view the batch details.
Email Batch Pickup details
- Right clicking anywhere inside the software to access quick links, clicking on the Batch Pickup quick link. OR Clicking on the admin tools tab then clicking the Batch Pickup button.
- Select the batch from the list, or from the list of previously picked up batches. ( To view previous batch pickups Read the instructions above).
- Click on the Email List option from the options menu, and a detailed report of the batch will be generated.
- Right click on the report and click on the Email report attachment button.
- In the Email settings window, select from the e-mail addresses given or enter an extra email address in the email field and select the Extra Email option checkbox.
- Enter the Subject and body of the e-mail and click on the send button.
View Batch Shifts
You can view the shifts that were opened in each batch by:
- Right clicking anywhere inside the software to access quick links, clicking on the Batch Pickup quick link. OR Clicking on the admin tools tab then clicking the Batch Pickup button.
- Selecting the batch from the list, or from the list of previously picked up batches. ( To view previous batch pickups Read the instructions above).
- Click on the View Shift button from the options menu.
- All the shifts opened in during that batch will be listed.
View Profit and Loss
You can view the profit and loss report of each batch. To do so, you may:
- Right clicking anywhere inside the software to access quick links, clicking on the Batch Pickup quick link. OR Clicking on the admin tools tab then clicking the Batch Pickup button.
- Select the batch from the list, or from the list of previously picked up batches. ( To view previous batch pickups Read the instructions above).
- Click on the Target button from the options menu, and a profit and loss report will be generated.
