Please have different pricing for new activations and upgrades.
I am a Boost Mobile dealer. Frequently, we have promos that are for new activations only. There should be two different pricing methods so that a customer who purchases a phone with a new phone number or ported number gets the phone at one price and a current Boost customer who purchases a phone as an upgrade gets it at another price. Using the "Payment Method - Boost Rebate" may easily lead to employee errors as they may enter the wrong amount to deduct, give a rebate to a phone that is not eligible, give a rebate to an upgrade.

Number 1 and 3 are definitely the best ways that will work for me. Practically every month Boost runs some kind of promotion where one or more cell phone devices would get a discount if it's a new activation and regular price if it's an upgrade (current Boost customers). I'm pretty certain most Boost Mobile dealers will be unable to use CellSmart without this feature. Ideally what I would like is something similar to what RQ4 has - #3 and an unlimited number of coupon creation features that can be used for anything including cellular devices, accessories, etc. This coupon feature should have the option of either calculating the tax before coupon is applied or calculating the tax after coupon is applied

Wendell,
That is a great idea. Your suggestion couldn’t have come in at a more perfect time, we are in the middle of working on a coupon/discount/spiff module.
There are a few possible ways of going about this:
1. A discount or coupon applied automatically depending on what type of activation it is. For example at the time of the transaction on upgrades you might set up phones to not apply a discount but on new activations you automatically apply a $10 or 10% discount.
2. Allowing your reps to apply a different discount depending on what type of activation it is. For example the maximum discount on an upgrade might be $10 or 10% whereas on new activations you might allow $15 or 15%.3. Setting fixed prices when creating a phone in the system. For example the MSRP is $399.99 and then you have 2 additional fields for new activation price and upgrade price.
